Cyprus-based multi-asset broker Exness closed out an absolutely blockbuster 2023 by posting client trading volume of $3.607 trillion in the final month of the year. December trade activity was 8% below November’s $3.935 trillion, which was not unexpected given the usually slow holiday season covering the second half of the month.
For the full year 2023, Exness averaged $3.72 trillion in monthly trading volumes, up 64% from $2.27 trillion in 2022. Exness set an all-time record for a retail FX and CFD broker in October 2023, with $4.8 trillion in customer transactions.
December saw a total of 685,374 active customers transacting on Exness, down slightly from 688,245 in November.
In Q4 2023, Exness fulfilled $1.628 billion in customer withdrawal requests and paid a total of $132.2 million in affiliate commissions.
