Exness Chief Customer Officer (CCO) Damian Bunce has announced on social media that he is leaving the company at the end of the month.

We understand that his decision is (in part) due to the decision to leave Cyprus and return to London.

Damian Bunce joined Exness in 2021 as Chief Trading Officer and then his role expanded in 2022 to Chief Customer Officer, overseeing Exness’s trading products and risk management functions for both B2C and B2B businesses. He also dealt with the company’s Marketing and Brand.

Damian Bunce has over 25 years of experience in electronic trading at leading financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs, Barclays Capital and Sberbank CIB. Prior to joining Exness, he was a board member of Saxo Bank, overseeing its global commercial operations as Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for Saxo bank’s global product and P&L operations, including all B2C and B2B2C lines of business.

Damian posted the following note today on LinkedIn:

After almost 3.5 years at exness, I tendered my resignation last week and will be starting a new job and a new chapter in April. (tip 👆)

Sometimes when you join a company as a top executive, you’re unlucky, you start when the company is in a hole and you can’t turn it around fast enough. Sometimes you are lucky, you start when the rocket is ready to launch and at exness I was lucky to lead an incredible period of growth, many highs, (a few lows of course) but the most incredible work I have ever seen since my days at Goldman Sachs.

So many awesome people, great memories and always grateful for the experiences and lessons. Good luck to exness and its people in the coming years.
