Effective Transactions Date of June 23, 2025, the CBOE Options Exchange (C1) will allow a new type of flex complex series that may include a combination of Flex and Non-Flex options options in the same underlying security or index.

Complex Flex orders may optionally include an underlying element of Equity Leg. All complex orders, including those with or without a non -vein, will allow legs in different styles of exercise (eg European against Americans) within the same order.

Orders containing both Flex and non -Flex series will be considered complex Flex instruments, which will be subject to the same rules and processes governing the negotiation of other orders.

Generally, a complex series of flex and non-flex feet can be submitted to the exchange for electronic processing via Flex Aim, Flex Sam or Flex auctions. or on the CBOE trading floor for manual handling in open outcry.

As with all Flex orders, there will be no book for complex Flex orders that include non-obsessive feet. Any non-Flex leg (s) of a Flex versus non-Flex series will not be allowed to foot in the simple book.

Complex flex orders with a non-obsession foot are only eligible through the order registration protocol. No order registration changes are required to support this improvement.
