Working as a API portal for AI, the MCP server controls how the AI interface with a Genesis application. Although financial institutions are in the early days of exploring the way MCP supports AI strategies, excitement builds as people see the ability to enhance the utility and value of their software estate.
With the design, the Genesis Applications Platform provides Guardrails to make AI predictable and compliant actor on the platform and, by extension, the technological ecosystems of our customers. The MCP Genesis server reads the Genesis Application transmitters and governs the way LLMS can interact with the application. Application owners have full control of the Genesis MCP server and can determine which functions can access an AI agent. In addition, all interactions through the Genesis MCP server are subject to the same rights and a model of rights as the underlying application.
The MCP Genesis server is an opt-in functionality for all Genesis applications performed in platform 8.11+ versions. Genesis applications do not need remodeling to operate with MCP server.
Cases of use for MCP are almost unlimited, but Genesis expects to boost Genesis Application users to be more innovative and productive, allowing them to:
- Interacts with the application from a conversation interface
- Create complex business results by combining work from birth and other MCP applications
- Exit Genesis application data and use LLMS to perform actions on it (eg, summarize, aggregates, format, transformation, etc.)
