Fintech Company Metaquotes has announced that support for earlier versions of MT4 and MT5 will end on July 1, 2025.
As of July 1, 2025, the minimum supported versions of trading platforms will be:
- Metatrader 4 – Build 1440 Released on 21 February 2025
- Metatrader 5 – Build 4755 Released on December 13th 2024
After that date, earlier versions of the Terminals Desktop will no longer be able to connect to a broker servers. Metaquotes strongly encourage traders to be updated in time, as each version of the platform introduces numerous performance and performance improvements.
Metatrader 5
In recent months, three large updates have been released on Metatrader 5:
- Create 4620: Extended OpenBlas Support, Fixed History Questions.
- Build 4730: Extension OpenBlas Support and General Performance Optimization.
- Create 4755: Strategic bug corrections and general improvements.

Each new version of Metatrader 4 offers efficiency improvements, bug corrections and improved security for market service.
