FNG has learned that Dana Massey, head of product and technology at Capital.com (and former head of marketing manager), has left the company.
Dana Massey joined Capital.com in 2022, as mentioned exclusively here at FNG, his office in London as Head of Products (CPO) and soon after additional responsibilities by Chief Marketing Officer. Last year it was called Chief Product & Technology Officer. Dana Massey joined Capital.com by the Worldremit foreign exchange provider, where it was a VP Product – Core Consumer, driving the product team facing the consumer (Apps, website) for the company. Before Worldremit Dana spent almost two decades in the field of racing, more recently as senior director, new races for King Games (Candy Crush, Heroes Farm, Pet Rescue and Bubble Witch).
Dana published the following note today on social media about his departure from Capital.com.
For the last three years plus Capital.com has been a tornado! We have grown up like crazy, won tons of awards and consistently achieved some of the best comments on the market. Most importantly, we have built a team around the world that could not be better and ready to take great things in the coming years. I couldn’t be proud.
It was an honor to play a role in building and lead these groups in recent years. First product, of course, and then marketing and technology. I couldn’t have better training to work with all of you!
Now it’s time to go back and take a very necessary break. I am sure that in no time, I will chase this next big puzzle to solve, but first I will watch a hockey, I will do some hikes, read some books and, for the first time in my life, you will rest!
