Jean-Yves Sireau, the founder and long-term CEO of Retail FX and CFDS broker deriv.com, announced that he is returning to the role of “founder” and delivers full-time CEO to the company at Rakshit Choudhary.
Rakshit Choudhary has been with Deriv since 2009, initially participating as a quantitative analyst. After a series of promotions it was named COO of Deniv in 2019 and last year called Co-DEO. (We had talked to Rakshit Choudhary soon after the Co-DEO title was added last summer).
During last year, Jean-Yves Sireau launched a health care company operating with AI called N1 Healthcare and apparently plans to spend more time on this venture. The N1 Healthcare creates extremely personalized health reports using genomics, biomarkers and knowledge with AI to optimize precautionary care.
Jean-Yves Sireau published the following explanation of changes and transition to Deriv.
After 25 years at the helm of Deriv, I return from daily leadership and fully move to my role as a founder. I will continue to help form the company’s long-term vision-but with more space to explore what will happen.
It was an incredible travel building on what it is today and I had the privilege of working closely with Rakshit Choudhary since 2009. It has played a key role in shaping our culture, our development and our mission. I have full confidence in his leadership as he enters the role of CEO to lead Deriv to his next chapter.
As for me, I start to focus on new businesses-with health care with AI being a particular area of interest.
Thank you all those who have participated so far this story. I’m proud of what we’ve built, and excited about what’s ahead – both for deriv and Deriv and Beyond.
