Dospitory Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) today announced the appointment of Laura Deaner as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), referring to Lynn Bishop, head of information.

Dean will be responsible for managing DTCC cyberspace to protect the business information and systems, as well as for the design and enhancement of cyberspace and cyberspace and course maps to support DTCC’s business and efforts. In addition, it will continue to ensure that cyberspace is integrated into strategic business initiatives, including products and technological development, innovation and adoption by the cloud.

Dean brings over 25 years of leadership and expertise in DTCC information security management, including serving the last 12 years as a Ciso at Northwestern Mutual, S&P Global and before that, Pr Newswire. In each of these efforts, Dean has led to significant cyberspace transformation initiatives, bringing innovative approaches, new security practices and new security architecture and administration practices, which produced measurable increases in the maturity of the program. Before that, Deaner served in the roles of increasing responsibility for Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan Chase and Citigroup.

Dean has served as a member of the Board of Directors at the Financial Services Information Analysis Center (FS-IAC) since 2022 and is a member of the CYBER FELLOTS NYU TANDON Advisory Board.
