FNG has learned that Bryan Segers, Director of EFX Business Development at Market Maker Citadel Securities, resigned from the company.
Bryan Seegers was with Citadel in her New York office since 2019. Before the Acropolis, Bryan was senior EFX vice president at Jefferies Investment Bank, responsible for the global commercial transaction of EFX, the execution of ALGO and liquidity management. Bryan previously worked on Retail FX and CFD Brokers ADS in Abu Dhabi (where he was a global EFX), Alpari and Multibank.
Bryan published the following note today on social media about his departure from the Acropolis.
After ~ 6 years at Citadel Securities I decided to give up the business.
It was not an easy decision to leave a successful business that I am proud to have been part of the building from the ground.
I would like to thank Joe and Kevin for their guidance and support for bringing our vision to life. Most importantly, I would like to thank our customers and partners for their confidence in our team.
The launch of an innovative product alongside such a strong team will always be one of the biggest hits of my career.
I will spend summer with my family on late vacations from the markets. I look forward to reconnecting soon!
