The Worldline Payment Service Provider is ready to launch the new Wero payment method, allowing Emerchants to accept it in Germany from this summer onwards.

Worldline has been one of the original shareholders of EPI (EPI) since its establishment in November 2020.

Today, Worldline becomes an official member of Wero that allows its traders to accept Wero for online commerce. The launch will be effective from this summer in Germany in October in Belgium, followed by France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands in 2026.

Wero is a cross -border payments facility with built -in buyer protection and is based on a plan paved with direct bank transfer. More than 40 million basic customers will be able to pay initially to traders with their reliable application, allowing Wero Instant Bank payments for e -commerce and later in stores.

Wero brings a multitude of new benefits for consumers:

  • Increased trust from other wallets because the bank of payers issues payments.
  • Ease of a smooth user interface, with only one mobile phone number required to enter for activation.
  • More confidence than a buyer protection installation and a comprehensive difference mechanism.
  • An explicit consent for any type of payment (direct, postponement, repeated, etc.).

For merchants, Wero will be a complete solution for the store channel, starting in 2026.

It will also offer benefits to traders, such as reduced matches with consent management and pre-audit services, as well as a higher conversion rate with a truly friction without friction.

“With the launch of the e-commerce payment case, EPI provides the foundations and points of proof for a truly viable European solution and only marks the principle for traders’ rails, Wero is not only Em-Commerce. To add payments with similar channels, the first selling point/store payments and invoice payments. “said EPI Company’s Martina Weimert CEO.
