Euronext and Clearstream have today announced a new partnership to promote the continued development of Euronext Clearing Management Services in all categories of RepO and other categories of assets.

Additional collaboration with ClearsStream enhances Euronext Clearing infrastructure to provide escalating and effective clearance solutions tailored to the evolving demands of European and international market participants.

As part of this initiative, Clearstream will serve as a Triparty Agent (TPA) for the Euronext Clearance, facilitating advanced management capabilities. Customers will benefit from automated, flexible and functionally rational solutions that enhance the optimization of the margin and balance sheet.

Clearsstream will function as an independent third party, handling the selection of collateral, valuation and substitution to ensure compliance with eligibility criteria, while minimizing functional complexities. In addition, ClearsStream will manage the settlement and custody services, provide strong regulatory reports and support the liquidity and risk management objectives.

The Go-Live of this enhanced service offer is scheduled for November 2025.

The agreement supports the upcoming start of the initial phase of the Euronext Clearing Initiative Initiative, the REPO Foundation, scheduled for June 2025 – opening access to international participants and introducing wider products. For the past three years, Euronext Clearing has been transformed by a national central counterparty into the third largest European clearance home, incorporating businesses into many countries, markets and asset lessons.

ClearsStream adds its 30 -year experience to supporting market participants worldwide to effectively manage and mobilize their assets in changing market environments. In a strategic initiative, the after -Trade service provider has successfully enhanced the safeguards, lending and liquidity management services, which connects with central counterparty (CCPs), exchange providers and other CSDs to maximize the market for worldwide markets.

Clearstream’s innovative data and digital solutions complete the common offer, supporting Euronext clearance by creating a timetable and optimizing liquidity.

Anthony Attia, a world leader of derivatives and after trade at Euronext, said:

“This collaboration with ClearsStream marks an important step in executing our 2027 development strategy, enhancing Euronext Clearing’s ability to offer peak peak and clearing solutions. And building a more durable clearance ecosystem that focuses on the customer.”
