Rokid, a pioneer in the augmented reality (AR), launched today the Rokid Glasses, the latest AR device.
In China, the product supports payments to the store facilitated by Alipay’s digital payment technology and the multidimensional risk control solution for AR glasses, providing a smooth and secure payment experience.
According to Rokid, the product will start circulating to users starting in June 2025, with over 250,000 units already ordered.
How does the payment through AR glasses work:
- Users connect their Alipay account through the Rokid app and activate voice verification.
- In stores, they say: “Rokid, pay 10 RMB.”
- Glasses scan the trader’s Alipay QR code.
- Users confirm with voice, with payment details displayed on the screen.
