Wedbush Securities announced today that Michael Bower and George Nikitiadis have joined Wedbush as managers.

Bower, a very respected healthcare dealer in the field of healthcare with almost 20 years of commercial experience at the forefront, joins Wells Fargo Securities, where he recently served as head of US healthcare. Known for the excellent commitment of its customers, strategic risk management and Cross-Desk collaboration, Bower has also maintained superior roles in RBC Capital Markets, BTIG and BANC of America.

“Wedbush’s long -standing reputation as a leader in health care makes this exciting opportunity,” Bower said. “I look forward to working with the team, contributing to expanding the company’s commercial activities.”

Nikitiadis brings more than two decades of deep expertise in worldwide programs, market structure and stock strategy. As a former head of US trade negotiation and the international program in the CIBC World markets, he has successfully launched pioneering platforms, including the first guaranteed strategies of VWAP and ETF creation/redemption of the ETF. With the experience of leadership in Mizuho Securities, Chardan Capital and Lehman Brothers, Nikitiadis has built trade offices from the ground, led to an exponential increase in revenue and expanding the global market market.

“Integration into the Wedbush was the right move at the right time – a unique opportunity to combine the power of an established platform with flexibility to innovate and unlock new opportunities in marketing programs,” Nikitatis added.

“These appointments reflect Wedbush’s ongoing investment in top talents to boost our institutional commercial businesses,” said Burke Dempsey, EVP, head of investment banking and capital markets. “The attraction of Michael and George reinforces our strategic commitment to the growth, differentiation and offer of differentiated value to our customers in today’s evolving markets.”
