Loopfx FX has announced two higher appointments as it is promoted to live this month.

Jonathan Avery

Jonathan Avery has joined as a general adviser, bringing deep legal and operational expertise to support and accelerate the boarding process for banks and assets. Mr Avery has decades of experience as a trading and derivative lawyer, including the higher roles of Citigroup, Standard Life and Aberdeen, where he served as a world leader of commercial trading documentation.

Malcolm cox

Loopfx has also appointed Malcolm Cox as a fractional marketing head. Mr Cox has over 30 years of marketing leadership experience, with a proven history of building high growth businesses through brand development, strategic placement and product marketing. It was CMO of the United Kingdom Adtech Firm Grapeshot, which was sold to Oracle in 2018 for $ 325 million. Its arrival enhances Loopfx’s Go-To-to-Market capabilities, as its corresponding engine prepares to live.

Blair Hawthorne, founder and CEO of Loopfx, said:

“With the growing number of partners we are boarding, now is the right time to bring Jon to our team as our General Counselor. He is highly regarded and entrusted to the whole market, with decades of experience from top institutions. Do things in Loopfx.”

These new hires follow the appointment of Peter Khadder in 2024 as head of the negotiation. Mr Khadder spent 15 years as a FX Voice Trader in HSBC and Standard Chartered, with experience in both New York and London. It brings a profound technical picture of how banks manage the risk and how customers manage large transactions. At Loopfx, it focuses on managing liquidity on the Loopfx match engine, working with market participants and selling to optimize racing behaviors.

This growth represents another important step forward for Loopfx, supported by strong financial investment, which includes an investment of £ 2.6 million from Augmentum Fintech PLC.

LOOPFX also benefits from the guidance of an excellent council that includes: John Sievwright (President of Burford and member of the Board of Directors of Revolut), Martin Gilbert (Chairman of the Revolut Committee and founder of Aberdeen Asset) personality of shortlist media).
