News online broker Etoro Group Ltd (Nasdaq: ETOR) announced the appointment of Laura UNGER (portrayed above) and Lior Shemesh as new members of its Board of Directors. Both Laura UNG and Lior Shemesh will also participate in the Etoro Audit & Risk Committee.

Laura UNG is regulatory, legislative, politics and strategy. It has played a variety of public and private roles and has served in multiple corporate councils over the last twenty years, such as Borland Software, MBNA, Merrill Lynch IQ Funds, Ambac Financial, Ca Technologies, CIT Group and Navient Corporation. He is a former SEC Commissioner and president of the SEC and former adviser to the US Senate Bank Committee.
Laura is currently working as an independent director and chairman of the Risk Committee for Global Investment Bank Nomura Holdings Inc. (NYSE: NMR) (Tokyo), as President of Audit and Director of the largest subsidiary of Nomura Holdings America and director of the Instinet trading platform.
She began her government career as a lawyer for the enforcement of a capital market in New York and Washington, DC, followed by her service as a title consultant to the US Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs. He received a NW rhetoric from the University of California in Berkeley in 1983 and a JD from the New York Law School in 1987.

Lior Shemesh is an experienced CFO with a powerful history of shaping and guidance of the economic strategy and businesses for technology companies. He has served as a NASDAQ CFO listed WIX software company since April 2013. Before joining Wix, Lior has served as VP Finance and then CFO on Alverion Ltd., an optimized wireless provider. Previously, he had superior funding roles at Veraz Networks Inc., a Softswitch, Media Gateway and Digital Compression Solutions Provider and Eci Telecom Ltd., a network infrastructure provider.
From July 2012 to June 2021, Lior Shemesh served on the Board of Directors of Aspen Group Ltd., where he was also in the Compensation Committee, the Committee on Financial Statements, as well as the Chairman of the Audit Committee.
Lior Shemesh began his career as an accountant at Israel Aerospace Industries. It has a BA in Accounting and Economics and an MBA from Bar-illa University.
