Barclays today announced the appointment of Joseph (Joe) Lee as head of high -sales -sales, Asian -Pacific trade.
In this role, Joe Lee will lead the Bank’s high -level trade efforts across the area, focusing on providing high quality execution and deepening of customer involvement. Based in Hong Kong, he will functionally mention Peter Ramsey, the world -class headquarters and the regional manner with Christian Treuer, head of shares distribution, Asia -Pacific.
In recent years, Barclays has strategically expanded APAC businesses. The bank has invested in high -growth areas, such as structured derivatives, flow derivatives, quantitative investment strategies (QIS) and primary. Customer coverage was expanded into basic institutional departments. and improved execution capabilities through platform upgrades and strategic recruitment.
The business of its shares in the area is anchored by strong transactions of the program and electronic trading capabilities and Joe’s appointment represents a strategic expansion in the execution of high basements, enhancing Barclays’s commitment to provide a more comprehensive and differentiated service to APAC customers.
It will work closely with the Bank’s World Shares and Matt Toms, the head of APAC Cash Execution, as well as with APAC’s APAC APAC, as well as APAC’s APAC APAC, APAC,

Joe Lee brings about 30 years of experience in trading and stock sales. He participates in Barclays from HSBC, where he was head of liquidity in Hong Kong. Before that, he had superior roles in Credit Suisse, including the head of Korea’s shares and the APAC High Touch Execution. Earlier in his career, Joe Lee worked on Deutsche Bank, CLSA, Goldman Sachs and Nomura/Lehman Brothers.
