Spotware, developer of the popular Ctrader Multi-Asset Trading platform, announced the launch of Ctrader Webview Plugins Hackathon, a development competition created to celebrate and support the release of Ctrader Webview Plugins. The event begins on July 16, 2025 and invites encoders, traders and creative technical minds to create and publish innovative plugins for the opportunity to win high quality awards and recognition in the Ctrader community.

The Ctrader Webview Plugins Hackathon is designed to cause creativity and adoption of this powerful new feature. Participants will compete to create and publish the most popular plugin webview at the Ctrader store until the expiry date of August 31, 2025.

To be eligible, the plugins must pass moderate and officially published in the Ctrader store. Participation is open to everyone.
The first three entries will receive Premium Apple products:
- 1st place: Apple MacBook Pro
- 2nd place: Apple iPad Pro
- 3rd place: Apple Watch 10
The winners will be selected by the Management Ctrader, based on the creativity, functionality and overall potential of each plugin. The final results will be announced on September 8, 2025.
Why Webview Plugins matters

The webView plugins are extremely accessible and enhance Ctrader’s position as Open Trading Platform ™. If you can create a basic web application and connect it to an API, you can create a plugin.
