Circle Internet Group, Inc. (NYSE: CRCL), a global financial technology company, announced today the appointment of Adam Selipsky to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Selipsky brings over 20 years of executive experience in escalating the internet platform infrastructure and providing some of the most important technologies to companies and industries worldwide.

More recently, Mr. Selipsky has served as CEO of Amazon Web Services (AWS). While there, he also served as an opening member of the United States Ministry of Interior Ministry (DHS) artificial intelligence.

Before his time with AWS, he was chairman and chief executive of Tableau Software where he led the company through its acquisition from Salesforce. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions on Amazon, Realnetworks and Mercer Management Consulting and has served on the AWS and Tableau boards.

Mr. Selipsky holds an AB from Harvard University and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
