Oanda Japan Inc, a subsidiary of the Online Broker Oanda Corporation, has announced changes to Turkish currency trading hours.
Change, effective from August 11, 2025 (Monday), will affect the following pairs:
Trading hours Before the change:
- Monday, 7:05 am until 6:59 am Saturday (American standard time)
- Monday, 6:05 am to 5:59 am Saturday (day saving time)
Trading hours After the change:
- Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm until 1:00 am The next day (Time Central European Standard)
- Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm until 12:00 am The next day (central Europe summer time)
The brokerage explains that the uncertainty surrounding the Turkish pound (test) continues to insist on financial markets, including the Forex market.
As a result, liquidity remains low and the constant price distribution is sometimes not available, especially during the early morning hours in Asia. This continues to make it difficult to provide a stable commercial environment.
As a result, Oanda Japan has decided to change trading hours for this pair of coins at European time, when liquidity is relatively higher.
