Westpac announced today the appointment of Carolyn McCann to the position of CEO, consumer, which is in force.

Mrs McCann has been bringing for almost thirty years of corporate experience, including two decades in the banking and insurance industries and over a decade on Westpac. He has acted as CEO, Consumer since May 12, 2025. Previously, he was executive team, clients and corporate services, WestPac’s business, scams and fraud, client collections and difficulties, resiliences, corporate cases and corporate cases.

Carolyn McCann joined Westpac in 2013 as General Manager, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability. Before entering WestPac, Carolyn spent 13 years at the Australia insurance group in various positions, including the General Manager of Group, Corporate Affairs and Investment Relations. She began her career in consultation on financial services.

Carolyn McCann has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland, a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology of Queensland and a Masters Degree in Applied Financing and Investments from the Australian Institute of Australia. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Directors of Company (AICD) and Managing Director (CEW).
