SIX has decided to make changes to the index baskets based on a composition by the index committee and in accordance with the SMI®, SLI®, SPI® and SXI® rules.
The indicators will be adapted on September 19, 2025 after closing. The adjustment comes into force on September 22, 2025.
The latest additions to Smim include Swissquote.
The Smim includes the 30 largest medium capital reserves in the Swiss stock market not included in the SMI Blue-Chip index. As in the case of the SMI, the ingredients are selected in accordance with market capitalization and their turnover.
Smim’s composition is examined once a year in September. The calculation takes place in real-time tick-by-tick, that is, any new transaction that includes a stock included in Smim forces the index to re-calculate.
SMIM was standardized at 1,000 points on December 31, 1999.
