Marqeta, Inc. (Nasdaq: MQ), a modern card issuance platform, announced today the appointment of Mike Milotich as a Managing Director and as Director, which is in force immediately.
Mr Milotich has served as a Temporary CEO since February 2025, in addition to the role of financial director.
Prior to joining Marqeta, Mr Milotich was the senior vice -president of Visa’s corporate financial and investors’ relationships, responsible for understanding Visa’s business and financial performance, managing corporate prospects, evaluating the mergers and acquisition opportunities and communicating with the global community.
Before Visa, Mr Milotich worked on Paypal and American Express in various roles of business resolution.
Mr. Milotich holds a degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and the MBA from the University of New York.

The Board of Directors of the Company will begin searching for the next financial director of Marqeta, with the help of a leading executive search company. Mr Milotich will continue to serve as a CFO until a successor is found.
