
Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) today announced the appointment of Thomas Sullivan as CEO of DTCC Digital Assets.
He will report to Nadine Chakar, Managing Director, World Director DTCC Digital Assets.
Mr Sullivan is responsible for guiding and facilitating the development of DTCC Digital Assets’ strategic goals, driving critical projects and working with customers, regulators and market participants to promote business leadership in digital innovation.
It brings over 20 years of experience in titles and banking work, to all businesses and innovation. Previously, he was the head of business development for digital assets at Société Générale, where he helped establish the business as a market leader in the issue, transaction and management of digital special financial products registered in blockchain.
Prior to the Société Générale, he was head of mediation business at Commerzbank, where he managed mobile securities, securities support and asset service.
“I have the honor of joining DTCC at such a central time for industry, when the Worlds Tradfi and Defi are starting to converge and digital assets take over the ecosystem,” Sullivan said. “I am excited to work with my colleagues and throughout the industry and look forward to seeing what we are doing collectively in the coming years.”
