The leading online broker IG Group (Lon: IgG) announced the appointment of Mike Vaughan as the IG North America Managing Director (CEO), which is in force on October 1st.
IG said Mike brings more than three decades of high -growth technology experience, with deep expertise in escalating Fintech businesses. The range of Mike’s experience and entrepreneurship brings from the combined business, counseling and investment background will be priceless, as IG continues to execute its strategy and increase the active customer base and market share in North America.
Mike Vaughn has spent the last three years as a co-founder and general associate of Vera Equity, a company-focused business capital company, which invests in the stages of pre-seeds and seeds. He was previously a partner of the Healthcare business and FINTTECH VC OAK HC/FT. Before his career at Venture Capital, Mike spent eight years as a COO of P2P Venmo’s payment company, acquired by Paypal.
IG reinforced its presence in North America that bought an online Tastytrade broker in 2021.
