The Global Payments Network Network Gram and the PLID Data Network announced today the expansion of their partnership in Europe.
Following the successful launch of the US, integration now allows Moneygram customers in Europe to easily connect and certify their bank accounts through Plaid’s reliable open banking technology, providing a new smooth and safe choice for funding international payments in basic European markets.
Moneygram’s extensive collaboration with Plaid supports her vision of a financial world without borders, facilitating customers in Europe to fund domestic and cross -border payments.
“The international expansion of our partnership with Plaid reflects our commitment to save time, effort and money of customers by constantly improving their experience,” said Anthony Soohoo, Managing Director of Moneygram. “We work with plaid to build faster, more powerful tools that make the cross -border money movement simple and reliable for everyone.”
This expansion further strengthens the Moneygram World Network, which covers more than 200 countries and territories, about 500,000 retail seats and over five billion digital contact points. As one of the few global worldwide channel payment networks with huge scale and worldwide access to cash, Moneygram is working to make cross -border payments smoothly, accessible and safe for all, everywhere.
In addition to improving the customer’s experience, the partnership reinforces MoneyGram’s commitment to security. Modern Plaid safeguards, coupled with the powerful Moneygram consumers’ compliance and protection program, ensure that customer information remains safe and confidential in each transaction.
“The first phase of the open banking was for consumers. Now, it leads the way in which innovation then unfolds,” said Brian Dammeir, head of payment and financial management in Plaid. “When it comes to payments, Europeans want to move money across Epirus and beyond quickly and without friction. Moneygram provides more and more custom -made experiences, powered by Plaid’s pay from the bank.”
