The Australian Securities and Exchange Commission (ASIC) cancels Australian Financial Services (AFS) permission of Velos Global Markets Pty Ltd.
The cancellation of the license came into force on September 23, 2025.
ASIC annulled the AFS license in accordance with Article 915B (3) of the 2001 (CTH) companies’ law, knowing that Velos had ceased to participate in financial services. The regulator found that Velos had not carried out a financial service business from about May 2024.
Velos has the right to attract the Administrative Court of Review to revise the ASIC decision.
