Euronext officially launches its new office in Porto in the historic Pharmacia building in the city, marking a major milestone in the strategic expansion of the group.

The inauguration, held on September 30, 2025, gathered institutional partners and municipal officials of Portugal, including the Minister of Economy and Portugal’s cohesion, Castro Almeida and the mayor of the city of Porto, Rui Moreira. With an open speech by Stéphane Boujnah, Managing Director and Chairman of the EURONEXT Board of Directors, the ceremony was an opportunity to celebrate the transformation of this historic space into a state -of -the -art technology and business hub.

Porto officials have been moving to the new site from the Boavista building, which has served Euronext for almost three decades, housing the Bolsa de Derivados do Porto since 1996, the Euronext Securities Porto (formerly Interbolsa) from 2000 and the Euronext Tech Center since 2017.

Porto plays a crucial role in the European model of Euronext. It hosts basic posts after the trade, Euronext Securities Porto and Tech Center, which is developing and executing Euronext Optiq trading technology and leads innovation in areas such as artificial intelligence, cyber security and market infrastructure.

The transition to new facilities reflects Euronext’s long -term commitment to strengthen its talent and consolidate Porto’s position as a hub of business excellence, technology and cross -border cooperation. It also supports the Group’s broader ambitions in the framework of the Strategic Plan “Innovation for Development 2027”, allowing groups to provide aggressive projects that contribute to Europe’s economic integration and durability.
