Electronic transactions with large interactive brokers have added an ASK IBKR functionality to the IBKR work platform.
The platform’s Beta version includes ASK IBKR, a tool powered by AI that offers instant portfolio knowledge through natural language research.
To use the operation, go to your portfolio and click the search bar. The ASK IBKR section will fill in.
Search key words like “Performance Portfolio” to see extra IBKR results.
IBKR Desktop is designed to serve as a primary trading platform for both retail and professional customers. It combines all basic work flow components, including discovery, analysis, execution and portfolio management, in a strong and intuitive interface.
In July 2025, interactive brokers announced the launch of the 1.0 IBKR work platform.
The basic features of version 1.0 include:
- A complete suite of basic trading tools such as portfolio, tracking list, advanced diagrams, chains of options, market depth 2 and time and sales
- Enhanced global search for faster access to mobile values, tools and platform functions
- New Discovery Investment Function
- Improved Translations and Language Support for IBKR World Customers
- Services with white brands making the IBKR desktop available for the introduction of brokers and other institutional customers.
