Group Exchange London London (LSEG) and Microsoft have announced the next step today in their multi -year partnership: transforming access to LSEG financial elements and the power supply of Agentic AI development with data that is safe and accessible through LSEG MCP server.
Through this collaboration, agents built at Microsoft Copilot Studio and developed at the Microsoft 365 Copilot can be activated with LSEG data.
By connecting the reliable content of LSEG to AI advanced capabilities, financial services professionals can benefit from smart tools that enhance decision making and productivity and lower obstacles in innovation-empowerment of organizations using AI responsibly and safely.
Today’s announcement is based on LSEG’s AI strategy – LSEG everywhere – which provides reliable data with license for the AI scale in financial services. Creating ideas from these data sets allows Microsoft 365 Copilot users to make faster decisions.
Using a new MCP server, LSEG customers will be able to connect to data, which have been licensed through LSEG products such as the workplace and financial analyzes, to create AI agents at Copilot Studio.
Copilot Studio provides a safe low code platform for users to create, adapt and develop advanced AI agents that can be integrated directly into work flows through the Microsoft 365 Copilot and other applications. Copilot Studio allows manufacturers to make refined agents with ease, using AI Frontier models in a fully managed SAAS experience that supports a wide range of business connectors.

Through the Copilot Studio, users will have access to the financial data and details that have been licensed through LSEG directly to their daily work flows to compose advanced AI agents, combining policies, prompts, tools and actions. This integration integrates human expertise and reasoning of the Great Linguistic Model (LLM) with the unacceptable economic elements, content and analyzes of LSEG in a safe, low -code government environment.
LSEG and Microsoft are currently working with customers to build their first copilot studio powered by LSEG data.
LSEG customers can also benefit from MCP for improved connectivity and unified ecosystem and AI ecosystem. LSEG has implemented this advanced protocol to make its data accessible and optimized to integrate AI work flows, enhancing how LLMS interprets and uses LSEG data. An MCP server allows Copilot Studio to connect to API LSEG as well as complete interoperability to their own customers’ AI systems and other third -party applications.
This feature allows data to be transferred to a standard environment, reducing the exact and intensive integration of multiple technologies for customers. This radically simplifies and accelerates the delivery of AI tools and applications that are safe, governmental and scalable. LSEG data will be accessible via MCP in gradual growth, starting with LSEG Financial Analytics.
The combination of Microsoft’s Cloud and AI platform with LSEG’s financial data and details provides differentiated results for industry professionals through deeper ideas and more timely, up -to -date decision -making in a rapidly evolving market.
