Fintech company MetaQuotes will release an updated version of its MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform on Friday, October 17, 2025.
This update brings improvements to the web version of the platform: expanded contract specifications, corrected price data display, improved time frame toggle menu, and improved account opening and login dialogs.
The MetaTrader 5 Web Terminal now includes a display of the contract start and end dates in the instrument specification:
The latest version comes with a number of fixes:
- Fixed the price lag indicator in the “Offers” section. On mobile devices, the corresponding icon may not have been displayed in extended view mode.
- Fixed the display of the time frame selection menu. The issue occurred in landscape view on mobile devices.
- Fixed display of available account types in demo account creation window.
- Fixed localization issues in account login window. Some items could only be displayed in English.
Traders are encouraged to ask their broker to update their platform to access the enhanced Web Terminal.
