Anz today announced three new leadership appointments to the Bank’s Executive Committee.

  • Pedro Rodeia, will participate as an executive group australia retail.
  • Christine Palmer, will participate as a team risk manager. and
  • Donald Patra, will participate as leader of the team.

Pedro Rodeia has an extensive retail banking experience in all basic products, sections and channels and joins Anz from McKinsey & Co. As a senior partner and former co-author of world banking practice, he has worked with world banks for more than 30 years, including Australian banks for the last 15 years. Mr Rodeia offers significant emphasis on retail banking, having worked in more than 20 markets to improve customer involvement and maintenance, reduce complexity and starting and innovative proposals.

Mr. Rodeia will participate on November 17, 2025, based in Melbourne. Bruce Rush will continue as executive of the Executive Australia team until Mr Rodeia begins in the role.

Christine Palmer has significant experience in business management, governance and credit risk and unites Anz from Santander UK, where he has served as head of 2020.

Mrs Palmer will participate in Anz on December 1, 2025, based in Melbourne. Kevin Corbally will continue as a team risk responsible until Mrs Palmer begins in the role.

Donald Patra brings over 30 years of international leadership experience throughout the financial and technology sector. He participates in Anz by HSBC, where he recently served as head of information on the United Kingdom and Europe. More than two decades with HSBC, Mr Patra took the roles of the heads of information throughout Asia, America and Europe, leading some of the bank’s most important transformation programs. His career has been determined by driving a world -scale digital transformation, modernizing basic banking platforms, promoting AI data and capabilities and enhancing functional durability in high -regulated markets.

Mr Patra will participate on November 24, 2025, based in Melbourne. Michael Bullock will continue as the team’s executive, technology and team services until Mr Patra begins in his role.

The appointments of Mr Rodeia, Mrs Palmer and Mr Patra are subject to regulatory approvals.
