ASX Group Executive Technology & Data, Dan Chesterman will leave the Group in the coming months after announcing his intention to stand down.
ASX Chief Executive and Chief Executive Officer Helen Lofthouse said:
“In recent months, we have had the opportunity to recognize how much has been achieved in recent years, but also how much more opportunity remains in the Technology & Data business. Under Dan, the team’s focus is more developed and our strategic priorities are well-aligned, making this the right time to hand over to someone who will lead the execution over the next 3-5 years.”
As Group Head of Technology & Data, Mr Chesterman’s responsibilities include the data products distributed by ASX (market data, reference data, benchmarks and indicators and DataSphere), as well as ASX’s data center and connectivity services businesses , such as the Australian Liquidity Center and ASX Clear. He is also responsible for ASX’s business data strategy, the ASX Synfini offering and a team focused on new product development and innovation.
A search has now been launched to replace the role and Mr Chesterman will continue to support the ASX over the coming months as a transition plan is put in place.
