The Belgian authorities have launched a new campaign that warns the public about online investment bids that are very good to be true.
The Center for Belgium of cyberspace, along with FSMA, Feblfin, FPS economy, cyberspace coalition and police prevention services, begins today a large -scale awareness campaign through Safeonweb, one first on this scale in Belgium.
The campaign aims to raise public awareness of false internet investment offers. This fraudulent technique has burdened the Belgians in the first half of the year with losses of € 15 million.
The new campaign coincides with both the World Investor Week and the European month in cyberspace and highlights the importance of digital vigilance.
