Binance will discontinue all Nigerian Naira (NGN) services.

Binance customers are encouraged to withdraw NGN, exchange their NGN assets or convert NGN to crypto prior to the discontinuation of these NGN services.

Starting March 8, 2024, 08:00 (UTC), any NGN balances in users’ Binance accounts will be automatically converted to USDT.

  • Deposits, withdrawals and conversions:

Binance will not support NGN deposits after 2024-03-05, 14:00 (UTC).

NGN withdrawals will not be supported after 2024-03-08, 06:00 (UTC).

After 2024-03-08 08:00 (UTC), Binance will convert any NGN balances in users’ Spot and Funding wallets to USDT on behalf of users at a ratio of 1 USDT = 1,515.13 NGN.

The conversion may take approximately up to 24 hours or more. USDT tokens will be credited to users’ Spot wallets afterwards, and users can confirm receipt of tokens through the Conversion History page.

If users have less than 0.00000001 USDT worth of NGN in their Spot and Funding wallets, they will each receive 0.00000001 USDT in their Spot wallets after the conversion.

Binance will delete all existing NGN trading pairs (ie BTC/NGN and USDT/NGN) on 03/07/2024 03:00 (UTC).

All open orders in relation to the above trading pairs will be automatically closed when trading in the relevant trading pair ceases.

Users should ensure that they do not have ‘Hide Small Balances’ selected in all their wallets to see their assets after trading has stopped.

Binance P2P deleted all NGN trading pairs on 2024-02-28 15:00 (UTC).

Binance Auto-Invest will delete NGN after 2024-03-06, 03:00 (UTC). Users can choose to remove programs in advance. Otherwise, the next repeated cycle of the aforementioned tokens will fail.

Binance will remove NGN from the list of supported payment options in Binance Pay on 2024-03-06, 03:00 (UTC).
