Capita Plc (Lon: CPI) Business Procedure Provider has announced today that it has reached a settlement with the Office of the Commissioner for Information (ICO) on its findings on the cyberspace of March 2023.
The settlement includes a penalty of £ 14 million.
According to the FX News Group on March 31, 2023, Capita presented a cyberspace incident that mainly affects access to the internal applications of Microsoft Office 365.
The company explained that this caused a disorder in some services provided to individual customers, although the majority of Capita customer services remained in operation.
Capita noted today that he was sorry for the incident and can confirm that, after a detailed forensic investigation, all those found as potentially influenced after the attack.

Capita is still expected to be positive in cash since the end of 2025. The full guidance of 2025, along with its medium -term goals, also remain unchanged.
