
International derivatives’ international CME team today published a Disciplinary Action Notice against Toronto-Dominion (TD Bank).
According to a settlement offer, in which TD Bank did not admit or denied the rules or the actual findings on which the penalty is based, the Chicago Business Committee (CBOT), which constitutes the Essimence USSime Market Non-Bona Fide EFP, as there was no good property transfer of the underlying asset.
The Commission also found that TD Bank executed the transaction in order to transfer the position of future fulfillment between accounts with common beneficial property and was aware or reasonably had to know that the purpose of the orders was to avoid taking a good market market position.
The table concluded that TD Bank thus violated CBOT 538.C. rules. And 534.
According to the settlement offer, the team ordered TD Bank to pay a fine of $ 25,000.
The date of entry into force of the notice is September 12, 2025.
