FNG has learned that the top FX and CFDS Broker EC retail markets have hired an experienced executive of the Omar Qumuq industry as Managing Director.
Omar Qumuq unites EC markets in Dubai after spending the last two years with the Doo team, serving as Mena’s head at Doo. He has previously worked at Startrader and Multibank.
Also, Omar in the EC markets is Rohan Kumar, who has served as sales manager at the Doo Group in Dubai for the last two years. Rohan came to Doo with Omar from Startrader in 2023. He has also worked in Exante.
The Doo Group has seen several higher departures, after a call center operated by the company in Malaysia attacked the police in August as part of a general repression aimed at financial fraud. We mentioned earlier this month that the doo Group D Prime Operation had fired the entire marketing section based on Cyprus, among what we understand are other changes to the company.
About the purchases of EC
The EC Markets have authorized subsidiaries in London (FCA regulated), Australia (ASIC), South Africa (FSCA) and UAE (SCA), as well as offshore entities of Seychelles and Mauritius. The team is mainly conducted by the United Kingdom, Cyprus and Dubai, led by the Managing Director of the Matt Smith team.
