Euroclear today announced the appointment of Sandra Nagyné Komócsi as head of domestic controller.

Its appointment has been officially approved by the Belgian National Bank.

Mrs Komócsi brings a plethora of relative expertise and a deep understanding of Euroclear to the new role. He succeeds John Bendermacher, who retires.

By 2021, Szandra has served as head of the risk of Euroclear Bank, the EURCLEAR International Central Capital Market Stock (ICSD). He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Euroclear Bank, where he helped direct the organization through a complex risk environment shaped by various geopolitical developments.

Mrs Komócsi started her Eurocles in 2010 inside the control team. Before entering Euroclear, she was a control manager at PwC.

He holds a master’s degree in the Economy from the University of Debrecen in Hungary and is an accountant of the fare.
