Euronext started mini individual shares for French and Dutch subjects based on the strong offer of existing options and reinforcing its position as the top European hub.
These new entries complement the standard contracts already available in the Euronext markets and aim to boost retailing, making choices that are more affordable.
The Mini options offer investors a wider range of options and new compensation opportunities. Mini options are individual shares with a smaller contract size of just 10 shares, compared to 100 shares for standard options.
They have been designed for retail investors who wish to obtain higher exposure to higher prices at Euronext or offset existing positions with reduced financial commitment and lower risk.
