Exclusive FNG… FNG has learned that Irene Guiamatsia has left its position as head of research in Australia based on electronic investment tendency research firms to return to the Australian Capital Market Commission (ASIC), the country’s financial regulatory authority. Her new role in ASIC will be the senior executive leader – Intelligence.
Irene Guiamatsia, based in Sydney, spent two years in the ASIC (2019-2021), where he was a senior market specialist, before joining investment trends as head of the research, a position he held in the last four years. He had also previously worked in investment trends from 2013-2019, in various research-related roles.
Irene holds a doctorate in aerospace engineering from the University of Toronto and B.Eng degree in Engineering by Polytechnique Montréal.
