Exclusive FNG… FNG has learned that Saxo Bank’s long -term executive director, Anaam Raza, has abandoned the FX and CFDs retailing to participate in the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a London BCG office director.
Anaam Raza has been with Saxo Bank for four years, serving as head of marketing and PR in Saxo UK, responsible for defining the UK’s marketing strategy and guiding all digital and off connection for SAXO UK.
The move comes shortly after the sale of Saxo Bank to the Safra Group Swiss Private Banking Arm J. Safra Sarasin Group (an agreement still pending regulations) and comes in many departures to Saxo Bank, London and worldwide.
Anaam published the following note on her transition to BCG to social media.
Enthusiastically sharing some personal news: After three and a half years to drive the Saxo UK marketing team, I am excited to be involved in Boston Consulting (BCG) consulting team as a strategy director of a strategy strategy.
I have always developed in mental stimulant environments and this role has so many of the things that I am deeply interested in: sharp thinking, strong narrative and the opportunity to work with brilliant minds in syntax, marketing and media groups around the world.
I will work with BCG’s top experts to examine the most pressing trends through a macroeconomic lens, disagree with the consequences of emerging technologies that touch each sector and help to shape the way BCG communicates these ideas that really matter.
A heartfelt thank you for Dan Coyne and Paul Michelman for the warm welcome – I can’t wait to start.
