Exclusive FNG… FNG has learned that online broker Trading.com has hired Athens-based FX industry executive Theodosis Lapata as the firm’s new Head of Marketing – US.
Theodosis Lapatas was Head of Affiliate for two years at copy trading platform provider ZuluTrade before leaving at the end of 2023. He also previously served as Director of Digital Marketing and Affiliate Program Manager at ZuluTrade.
The Trading.com brand is operated globally by CySEC licensed Trading Point of Financial Instruments Ltd based in Cyprus. In 2019 the company rebranded and FCA-licensed website in the UK from ‘XM.com’ to ‘trading.com’. The group now operates the XM.com brand outside of Cyprus as well as offshore through XM Global Limited in Belize. (There are also licensed subsidiaries in Australia and Dubai). In 2022 the company launched the Trading.com brand in the US, with subsidiary Trading.com Markets Inc operating as a CFTC-licensed and NFA-member registered retail forex dealer.
