Exclusive FNG… FNG has learned that FX industry veteran William Klippel has joined StoneX Group Inc (NASDAQ:SNEX), as Head of Strategic Partnerships & Alliances – Self-Directed, Americas for the company’s StoneX retail unit.
The move marks a reunion for William Klippel with the firm – he spent 15 years at Gain Capital in various sales and product development positions starting in 2005, leaving in 2020 after Gain Capital was acquired by StoneX. Gain Capital’s operating brands, Retail FX and CFD brokers Forex.com and City Index, formed the basis of StoneX’s retail division, which is still led by former Gain Capital CEO Glenn Stevens.
After leaving Gain Capital / Forex.com in 2020, William worked as Head of Sales for Capitalise.ai and as Vertical Head of Investment Platforms at Zero Hash.
