UK Financial Services System (FSCS) has dedicated one specified page In the Argentex case.
According to the FX News Group on Monday, Argetex LLP was placed in a special administration on July 21, 2025.
FSCS explains that its protection applies only to certain types of activity. This does not include electronic money and payment services.
There may be FSCS protection for eligible customers in relation to customers’ money owned by a business as part of wealth management services. FSCS works with joint special managers (JSAS) to determine whether Argetex customers who have money from the client with Argetex in relation to wealth management services are eligible for this protection.
FSCs will not be open to customer claims right now, but will be investigated if the claims and the best way to deal with them are possible. As part of this study, FSCS will work closely with JSAS and the Financial Behavior Authority (FCA).
