Exclusive: Global Prime sold, owners Jeremy Kinstlinger and Elan Bension launch Afterprime. Exclusive FNG… FNG has learned of a number of changes in Australia’s retail FX and CFD sector, with a number of trades taking place between some fairly well-known names and brands in the business. At the heart of the deal are Jeremy Kinstlinger and Elan Bension, who together have co-owned and co-managed ASIC licensed broker Global Prime since 2012. In 2020 the pair brought in former IC Markets executive Angus Walker as CEO of Global Prime.
Robinhood is launched in the UK. After a failed attempt in 2020, US app-based neo-broker Robinhood (NASDAQ:HOOD) has officially launched brokerage services in the UK. The company said its UK expansion marks a major milestone in its journey to democratize finance around the world and increase access to markets for all. The launch comes after Robinhood began posting key positions in the UK a few months ago and after the company hired Freetrade EU head Jordan Sinclair as its new UK CEO.

Exclusive FNG… FNG has learned through regulatory filings that FCA-licensed broker Zenfinex Limited posted a net loss of £1.9m on revenue of just £397k in 2022. The loss was slightly higher than the £1.8m Zenfinex lost in 2021 , on his income of £239,000. The losses come as Zenfinex rebrands its Retail FX and CFDs business to Taurex, both for its UK operation and its offshore (Seychelles) business, which are now both run from the tradetaurex.com website. The group’s B2B business continues to operate under the Zenfinex brand, from the zenfinex.co.uk website.
