The publication of US data by government organizations has been suspended due to the closure of the government. Specifically, the labor market report will not be released on Friday.
Official reports on the US labor market, including monthly employment data for September, have been suspended due to the closure of the government.
If the closure continues next week, reports due to the end of the month, including consumer prices, retail sales, home construction and producers inflation for September, are unlikely to be published.
However, many of the data from private sector sources will continue to be released. Some of these series are partially based on previous government reports and will also stop the publication during the termination.
