LiquidityMatch LLC, the parent company of FXSpotStream LLC, announced that the company has appointed John Ashworth as Independent Chairman of its Board of Directors.

John currently serves as CEO of Caplin Systems, a software company that provides trading systems to the financial industry and has a background of over 30 years in technology. Beginning his career at IBM, John has held leadership and board roles at FX-focused businesses including FENICS, GFI, Apama, FXAll and Caplin.

FXSpotStream CEO Jeff Ward commented,

Current board chairman Mark Meredith added,
