Garanti BBVA Digital Assets will soon offer Avalanche c-chain support for AVAX coins to users of the Garanti BBVA Crypto mobile platform.
Garanti BBVA’s independent company currently provides pioneering trading, storage and transfer services for a variety of cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and USD Coin (USDC), and plans to continue adding new assets to platform after a comprehensive security check every month.
Çağrı Süzer, Executive Vice President of Garanti BBVA and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Garanti BBVA Digital Assets, explained that Turkey is one of the top five countries in the world in terms of cryptocurrency transactions.
“We see that a significant portion of the trading is done in a limited number of assets,” he added. Garanti BBVA created Garanti BBVA Digital Assets to provide its customers with a simple and convenient way to store, buy and sell these assets.
The decision to include AVAX coins in the list of supported cryptocurrencies came as a result of customer recommendations. “Going forward, we will continue to grow in this area by further developing our service infrastructure and expanding the diversity of our crypto assets.”
