
GCEX’s regulated digital broker has announced that it has further enhanced the UK/EMEA Business Sales Group, with the hiring of Steve Thomas, who participates with over 25 years of experience in the FX and Digital Asset industries.
Steve Thomas participates in a similar role to the veteran of industry Kevin Gillespie, who was announced as part of the GCEX team last month. Steve and Kevin have a long and successful story of close cooperation at Hotspot FX, Menai Financial Group and Laser Digital. Together, they will focus on the development of growth and identifying new GCEX product areas, responding to customer demands.
Steve Thomas joins GCEX from FICC Sales & Distribution in Laser Digital. Before that, he was responsible for the Menai Financial Group’s institutional sales, FX and digital assets. He spent more than five years as a director, FX Sales Emea on World Cboe Markets and over 18 years in higher sales roles at Hotspot FX (now CBOE FX). He began his career at Saxo Bank, moving through the classes for a five-year period to co-head FX International Sales.
