Hargreaves Lansdown plc (HL) has today confirmed that Amy Stirling, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of HL, has been appointed to the Board of Next plc as an independent non-executive director with effect from 2 April 2024.
Amy Stirling has significant financial and strategic leadership experience in customer facing businesses in the telecommunications and financial services sectors. He has significant transformation and M&A experience at both executive and non-executive levels and is a Chartered Accountant.
Ms Stirling was previously Chief Financial Officer of the Virgin Group and other previous appointments include Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at RIT Capital Partners plc, Non-Executive Director of Virgin Money UK plc, Chief Financial Officer of The Princes Trust and Chief Financial Officer of TalkTalk Telecom Group Plc.
